Hunts are operated out of a comfortable, heated cabin with showers and good meals located on Alegnagik Lake. Bear hunting is conducted mainly in the beautiful Wood-Tikchik State Park, the largest state park in North America. Fall Brown Bear
Fall Brown Bear hunts are less physical than spring hunts. You will mostly be in remote tent camps in the Wood-Tikchik State Park. Most of the hunting will be out of boats, running the lakes and watching the salmon streams that flow into them.
The average bear in the fall is 8' to 9'6". This time of year, the bears are fat but sometimes the hides are rubbed. This is a highly successful hunt to harvest a great trophy bear!
