Kevin Slaughter is an avid outdoorsman of 42 years and a devoted husband and father. As a native of Dallas, Texas, Kevin grew up hunting all over Texas with his father who instilled a deep appreciation of the outdoors and conservation. Kevin has hunted and fished all over the world from quail hunting in Alabama to tent camps in remote areas of Africa.
He has a unique ability to quickly discern well run hunting and fishing operations. When you visit with Kevin for the first time, you will understand why he enjoys such a strong relationship with his outfitters and clients. He is extremely personable and quickly builds a trust relationship with everyone he encounters. He is continuously scouring the globe checking out new locations before they are added to the Antlers and Anglers Worldwide inventory of excellent locations.
Kevin earned the rank of Eagle Scout at age 15. He is a rotating member on the board of the Alabama chapter of SCI. Kevin graduated from SMU and continued his education towards a masters degree.
Corinna Slaughter, an avid world traveler and outdoorswoman for 34 years, began her traveling experiences as a young girl living in Paris. She enjoys luxury travel and fine dining as much as she enjoys experiencing tent life in Alaska or Africa. She is an avid angler and hunter. Her specialties include Africa and New Zealand. She is passionate about conservation and exposing budding hunters and anglers to the beauties of the outdoors. Her experience is invaluable when planning an outdoor hunting or fishing trip that ladies or families will enjoy. She personally checks out destinations and rates them for the ladies rating. These ratings are found on each destination page.
The ratings are as follows:
"Perfect for her" - The lodging is exceptional and there are numerous activities besides hunting and fishing.
"Pleasantly Surprised" - The lodging is very nice and there could be a few activities besides hunting and fishing. You need to have some interest in the outdoors to enjoy this destination.
"Let's talk before you go" - The lodging is nice but the trip itself if for a dedicated hunter or angler. If you are not serious about your sport, this may not be the best fit for you. There will be no other activities.
"Only for the brave" - Most likely this is a tent camp. You must have a very adventurous spirit and be prepared for the unexpected at this will be remote.
"Family Fun" - Any family that enjoys the outdoors will love this lodge and the people. The lodge caters to families and is thrilled that you are there!
